Bihar Staff Selection Commission conducted first graduate level mains examination (Sachiwalaya Sahayak Examination) on 27 January, 2013. Mains examination question paper and Answer key have been provided on Commission's website. Any error in question paper or in answer can be informed to BSSC till 31 January, 2013. After then no complain will be entertained. It shows that BSSC is serious in declaring the result as soon as possible. It can be expected before 20 February, 2013.
As far standard of questions are concerned, it was a mix bag. It was not on the pattern of preliminary examination. All sections were mixed. There were very few questions from math. Except 5 to 6 questions of word formation , all reasoning questions were not so tough. GK questions were not so lengthy as it was in the mains. In the Reasoning section unlike PT. examination, not too many questions were asked from arithmetic. It means GS and Science questions are going to decide the final merit. One can say that it was little easy.
Keeping all these factors in mind one can expect a cut off marks based on one's performance. Since the General Hindi paper was qualifying in nature, hence its marks will not be added in the merit list preparation. So merit list will be prepared on the marks scored in Second sitting's paper only. In the preliminary examination cut off for general candidate's was 342 (on the basis of first result). In the mains examination cut off will be certainly go higher. How much, it is very tough to say. But one can guess and say that it will be around 390-400 marks for general category. It may be wrong, but is only speculation. Now it is up to you, to debate on the cut off. However BSSC is not going to give you enough time in debating the result, because final result can be expected anytime after 15 February. Total number of seats are 3285.

hi frnds, mujhe lagta hai ki 70%candidates were emplyoed and who have leave their studies 6-10 years before,some are new,some very medium students.only 5 to 10% were absent in the exam.questn was in very mixed nature no one can challenge in this regard that i m perfect.about 8 qustn were wrong in my view.so i think marks will be calculated on 140 qtns only.every one has touched more than 120 qtns but not very sure.simple qstns have gone wrong with everyone,so its easy to be wrong 10-15 qtsn with each and everyone.so in my view the following qstns would cross the success line. ur-110,bc-104,ebc-96,sc-90,st-94(for sachiwalya sahayak)and for lower(ur-105,bc-100,ebc-93,sc-86,st90).isi ke sath best of luck for u guys,result will come before 28feb.Ravi

please read the question: In a class, 18 boys are > 160 cm tall. This constitute 3/4 of the boys. The boys are 3/2 of the total students. The number of girls in the class is:
Here more than 160cm boys are 18
These (160>) boys are 3/4 of total boys.
Then total boys are 18x4/3=24
Now come to total students.
Since boys are 2/3 of total students.
It means total students=24x3/2= 36
Now girls are 36-24= 12
There is no confusion. Please read the English version carefully. Differentiate between boys and students. Then You will get the answer.

Q 149)Hindi Medium paper did not mention "boys" it clearly is printed "Chatra" which is not the translation of "boys".The translation of "boys" is "Larke". "Larke" has also been used in the same question. The current answer punishes those who attempted in Hindi. In an exam where every second is precious its not possible to check both versions of a question.
However, I appeal to all students not to prove each other wrong rather approach the commission with all the arguments.

today i have sent discreparency form of bssc main exam with 15 doubt questions through speed post located at gole market n new delhi at 5 pm.hope that it reach by 5 pm on 31st jan. .now bssc will take actions or it will face music.the result will only disclose and marks later on will show correction done by bssc .till than enjoy

Student yesterday protested against wrong questions and options in the graduate level examination. They are demanding to cancel the mains examination. गलत थे 20 से अधिक प्रश्न
घटना की जानकारी मिलने के बाद शास्त्रीनगर थाने की पुलिस दल-बल के साथ पहुंची और कुछ ही देर में प्रदर्शनकारियों को हटा दिया गया. जाम के कारण एक घंटे तक यातायात व्यवस्था बाधित हुई. प्रदर्शनकारियों में शामिल शेखपुरा निवासी राजीव कुमार ने बताया कि सचिवालय सहायक की मुख्य परीक्षा में सिलेबस से बाहर से प्रश्न पूछे गये थे. बीस से ज्यादा प्रश्न गलत थे. इसके अलावा बोर्ड के द्वारा जो उत्तर जारी किये गये हैं, वह भी गलत हैं. उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कर्मचारी चयन आयोग द्वारा व्यापक तौर पर धांधली भी की गयी है. उन्होंने बताया कि वह अपनी मांगों को लेकर बुधवार को पुन: आयोग के कार्यालय के पास जुटेंगे. इसके बाद भी कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गयी, तो प्रदर्शन जारी रहेगा.
27 को हुई थी परीक्षा
कर्मचारी चयन आयोग के अधिकारी ने बताया कि सचिवालय सहायक समेत विभित्र संवर्ग के लिए 27 जनवरी को हुई परीक्षा के प्रश्नपत्र व मॉडल उत्तर पर आपत्तियां आनी शुरू हो गयी है. 31 जनवरी को आपत्ति देने की अंतिम तिथि है. इसके बाद विशेषज्ञों की कमेटी आपत्तियों की समीक्षा करेगी. कमेटी की अनुशंसा पर आयोग कार्रवाई करेगा.

simmering word is hardly known to any 27 thousand aspirants.nobody from dps or doon school seat for this type of exam.so,bssc think of rural background candidates which are majority in numbers.

u are right anonymous bhai. no system can be 100% correct,but the manner bssc set gk paper,seems that they cannot set correct 150 and thier answers be it pt exam or main exam.in main exam where every mark either make u in or out.
just see ssc and upsc ,how they set paper and try to satify everyone in objective exam.even upsc has some flaws in papers ,but they are just ignored.
