Bihar Staff Selection Commission conducted first graduate level mains examination (Sachiwalaya Sahayak Examination) on 27 January, 2013. Mains examination question paper and Answer key have been provided on Commission's website. Any error in question paper or in answer can be informed to BSSC till 31 January, 2013. After then no complain will be entertained. It shows that BSSC is serious in declaring the result as soon as possible. It can be expected before 20 February, 2013.
As far standard of questions are concerned, it was a mix bag. It was not on the pattern of preliminary examination. All sections were mixed. There were very few questions from math. Except 5 to 6 questions of word formation , all reasoning questions were not so tough. GK questions were not so lengthy as it was in the mains. In the Reasoning section unlike PT. examination, not too many questions were asked from arithmetic. It means GS and Science questions are going to decide the final merit. One can say that it was little easy.
Keeping all these factors in mind one can expect a cut off marks based on one's performance. Since the General Hindi paper was qualifying in nature, hence its marks will not be added in the merit list preparation. So merit list will be prepared on the marks scored in Second sitting's paper only. In the preliminary examination cut off for general candidate's was 342 (on the basis of first result). In the mains examination cut off will be certainly go higher. How much, it is very tough to say. But one can guess and say that it will be around 390-400 marks for general category. It may be wrong, but is only speculation. Now it is up to you, to debate on the cut off. However BSSC is not going to give you enough time in debating the result, because final result can be expected anytime after 15 February. Total number of seats are 3285.

i am 100% sure students in gen.categoy whose score is 95 is definitely making it to sachivalaya sahayak and 90-95 to other post.
I have scored 475 after deduct negative and hope after correction of answer key it might be gone approx 500. I know some of u buddy don't believe in my comment and they may be used some awkward word for me which never suit for any educated person to used immoral word like previous comment.
But i never think cut off will be gone above 100-105 ( i mean 400-420) for Assistant in UR category as I said in my previous comment when i had not checked my score.

cut off 105 lagta hai lekin mere group me bahut ko 105-108 tak(after correction) aa sakta hai so i have a little bit doubt about the same. so we have to wait for sometime for it.

Dear all, every body is busy in estimating the cutt off in bssc.the majority is saying 400 is safe for gen candidate but one thing must be remembered as i have analysed most of the candidates are around 100 so to get a place in 1600 one must have to overcome crowd because all the 13500 gen are not going to be placed in final list. so how is it possible that the cutt off shall b 100 or 400 marks. we must remember and accept the fact that this is final selection and no interview or other state is there. so as per my opinion the cutt off for SA shall lie between 440 and above for SA.

देश में केन्द्रशासित प्रदेशों की संख्या छह है। टाटा आयरन एंड स्टील कंपनी लिमिटेड (टिस्को) बिहार में स्थित है। मानचित्र में समान दाब को मिलानेवाली रेखाओं को आइसोगोनल्स कहते हैं। चीन की संसद का नाम राष्ट्रीय असेंबली है। प्रथम चार विषम संख्याओं का योग 256 है..। इन सभी नई जानकारियों की खोज ‘बिहार कर्मचारी चयन आयोग’ ने की है। सूबे में नन-गजटेड पदों पर नियुक्ति के लिए परीक्षाएं आयोजित करनेवाले इस आयोग ने 27 जनवरी को आयोजित सचिवालय सहायक की परीक्षा में पूछे गए प्रश्नों का सही जवाब नेट पर डाला है। इसमें आयोग ने लगभग 16 प्रश्नों का जवाब गलत दर्ज किया है। यही नहीं परीक्षा में पूछे गए कई प्रश्न विवादास्पद हैं। आयोग के इस रवैए से परीक्षार्थियों में गहरा आक्रोश है। बिहार में नन- गजटेड सरकारी पदों पर नियुक्ति की जिम्मेदारी बिहार कर्मचारी चयन आयोग की है। इसी तरह यहां गजटेड पदों पर नियुक्ति (बीपीएससी) करती है लेकिन सूबे की इन दोनों ही आयोग की कार्यशैली संतोषजनक नहीं है। इसका खामियाजा सूबे के युवाओं को भुगतना पड़ता है। कर्मचारी चयन आयोग ने इस परीक्षा के पीटी (प्राथमिक टेस्ट) में भी ऐसी ही गलतियां की थी, जिसकी वजह से मामला कोर्ट में गया तथा हाईकोर्ट ने कड़ी फटकार एवं चेतावनी के बाद कुछ निर्देश दिए। इसके बाद आयोग को लगभग बारह हजार रिजल्ट और देना पड़ा। इस विवाद की वजह से परीक्षा की तिथि भी लंबी खिंच गई तथा पिछले तीन साल से आयोग इस परीक्षा का रिजल्ट तैयार नहीं कर सका। अब एक बार फिर मुख्य परीक्षा में भी आयोग ने वही पुरानी गलतियां दुहराई है। छात्रों के हित के लिए लगातार लड़ाई लड़नेवाले शिक्षक व समाजसेवी डॉ. एम. रहमान कहते हैं कि सरकारी नौकरियों में नियुक्ति के मामले में यह सरकार बुरी तरह असफल रही है। लगभग बीस साल बाद पहली बार सूबे में सचिवालय सहायक जैसे महत्वपूर्ण पदों के लिए वर्ष 2010 में वैकेंसी निकाली गई, लेकिन तीन वर्षो से भी अधिक समय गुजर जाने के बाद भी इसका रिजल्ट तैयार नहीं किया जा सका है। आयोग की बदतर स्थिति का अंदाजा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि आयोग के स्ट्रांग रूम में मुन्नाभाई जैसे लोग रात-रात भर फर्जीवाड़ा करते रहे, और आयोग को इसकी कानों-कान खबर नहीं लगी। बाद में स्थानीय पुलिस को इसकी भनक लगी तथा वहां गड़बड़ी करते हुए कुछ लोगों को पुलिस ने रंगे हाथ धर दबोचा, लेकिन मामले की लीपापोती कर दी गई। उन्होंने कहा कि यह आश्चर्यजनक है कि आसान से प्रश्नों के गलत जवाब तैयार करनेवाले ये एक्सपर्ट कौन हैं? यह किस तरह के एक्सपर्ट हैं जिन्हें यह भी नहीं पता कि राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक चिन्ह में कितने शेर हैं। हाल में ही आयोग द्वारा आयोजित मोटरगाड़ी इंस्पेक्टर (एमवीआई) परीक्षा में आयोग ने एक प्रश्न के जवाब में यह लिखा था कि राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक चिन्ह में तीन शेर होते हैं। डॉ. रहमान ने मांग की कि ऐसे आयोग को तत्काल रद्द कर देना चाहिए तथा नए सिरे से इसका गठन किया जाना चाहिए। इस संबंध में, जब एसएससी के अध्यक्ष जेआरके राव से बात की गई तब उन्होंने कुछ भी कहने से इनकार कर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरह की गलतियों के बारे में सचिव ही बता सकते हैं। उधर, सचिव परशुराम मिश्र ने कहा कि इस मामले में जितनी भी शिकायतें आई है, उसकी जांच की जाएगी। विवादास्पद प्रश्नों के जवाब को सुधारने के लिए एक्सपर्ट की टीम गठित की जाएगी। यह टीम विवादास्पद प्रश्नों का मूल्यांकन करेगी तथा उसे सुधारकर ही नतीजा प्रकाशित किया जाएगा

I think the cut off will go near about 400 marks for general candidate for the post of secretariat assistant and 10-12 marks will reduce for every category accordingly. After making necessary rectification the cut off marks will increase and after deletion of wrong question the cut off marks will reduce. In conclusion, by and large the marks will remain unchanged which I got on the basis of first answer sheet issued by BSSC. So friend, wiat only 21 days the everything will be clear and speculation will be ruined.

PATNA: Nobel laureate Amartya Sen has been appointed the first chancellor of the proposed Nalanda University (NU). He is also the chairman of the NU governing body. The appointment has been made by the President and it was announced by governing body member and former foreign minister of Singapore, George Yeo, after the daylong meeting here on Thursday.
Sen said the first two schools on ecology & environment and historical studies will start in 2014. After the approval of its architectural design, the construction work and appointment of faculty members will start simultaneously. "There will be seven postgraduate schools in the university. Two more schools of Information & Technology and Economics & Management will come up," Sen told media. "Initially, 100 students in each of the two schools will be enrolled," NU VC Gopa Sabharwal said.

Kinetics vs Kinematics
Kinetics and kinematics are two words in the study of motion and the forces that are involved in these motions that confuse a lot of people. The situation becomes confusing because these two words are similar sounding, and also because both of them are involved in the study of motion. However, while kinetics study the motion and the forces that are underlying this motion, kinematics is solely focused on the study of motion and does not take into account any forces that may be acting upon the body in motion.
Kinetics
Kinetics comes from the Greek word kinesis which means pertaining to movement, and it is the study of motion and its causes. This is a science that has many practical applications such as car manufacturers designing their automobiles to prevent injuries in case of mishaps, or physicists studying celestial bodies and predicting their future movements. We make use of kinetics in daily life when we apply just the right amount of pressure on brakes of cars and motorcycles to prevent accidents and so on.
Kinematics
Though the word kinematics is not in vogue as much as it was earlier, it is still pivotal in understanding many laws of motion in physics.. When we study motion in terms of kinematics, we make heavy use of the laws of motion such as Newton’s first law which states that an object in a state of motion remains in motion unless and until an external force is applied to stop it. One branch of kinematics is called particle kinematics where the motion of a single particle is studied. The results of this study are then extrapolated and applied to a group of particles.
